Collier County: A Year of Growth and Kingdom Impact
Under the leadership of Kris Woods, Collier County has experienced a year marked by growth, faith, and transformation.
Our Area Director leads a dedicated team of four staff members, alongside one prospective staff member and an intern. As the ministry continues to expand, it is clear that God is moving powerfully in and through Collier County.
This year, we have seen:
- Many individuals come to know Jesus
- New student-athletes who step forward to join leadership teams
- New huddle groups launched across the county
- A growing momentum of discipleship and community impact
Behind this visible growth is a faithful and committed Collier County Board. Our Board members have consistently covered the team in prayer, offered wisdom and encouragement, and played a vital role in helping the ministry grow both spiritually and strategically.
We are deeply grateful for the ways God is building His Kingdom in Collier County. What we are celebrating this year is not just growth in numbers—but growth in faith, leadership, and lasting impact for generations to come.

These 3 Counties stand at an exciting and strategic moment of opportunity.
Under the leadership of our Metro Director, Brandon Kornblue, the ministry continues to move forward with strength and intentionality. As we look ahead, we are prayerfully seeking the right leader to step into these counties and help shepherd this growing movement — someone called to invest deeply in coaches, athletes, and schools across these counties.
The harvest field is vast.
Currently, FCA is serving:
- 13 high schools
- 6 middle schools
Yet many more campuses remain to be reached. The opportunity to expand huddles, develop student leaders, and disciple coaches has never been greater.
We believe God is preparing the right person to help lead this next season of growth. As staff expands and new ministries take root, these counties are positioned not just for incremental growth — but for transformational impact.
This momentum is strengthened by a faithful and committed Board. Our Lee County Board Members continue to serve with prayerful dedication, walking alongside staff with wisdom, generosity, and steadfast support.
Join us in praying for bold leadership, open doors on every campus, and a powerful move of God throughout these counties. The foundation is strong — and the future is full of promise.
College Ministry: Igniting Faith at FGCU & FSW
This year marked an incredible season of growth and impact through FCA on our college campuses.
Students made first-time decisions to follow Jesus, while many others deepened their faith and stepped boldly into leadership — sharing testimonies, leading devotionals, and challenging their peers to live for Christ.
Weekly FCA Huddles at FGCU and FSW featured dynamic speakers, including professional athletes, pastors, and business leaders who inspired and encouraged our students. Team Bible studies and discipleship groups (men’s, women’s, and coed) continued to help athletes integrate faith into competition and everyday campus life.
We strengthened meaningful relationships with coaches and athletic staff, walking alongside them through the pressures of leadership and competition. A special highlight was the impact within FSW Baseball, including team practices with guest speakers and a beach outreach that built unity and faith.
Additionally, 24 students attended the Unite Rally in South Florida and returned to campus energized and spiritually renewed.
Above all, students are building an authentic, Christ-centered community — encouraging one another and living out their faith boldly on and off the field.
